• My Yoga Journey

My journey with yoga began in 2003, but it wasn’t until 2018, after becoming a parent, that I truly embraced it as a regular practice. Amidst new responsibilities and challenges, yoga became my sanctuary, a sacred space where I could reconnect with myself and find solace. It was something I’d make me-time for and something I looked forward to doing for myself. Throughout the pandemic, I practiced yoga regularly. It provided me with the strength and mental peace during this tough time. Through the gentle guidance of my practice, I felt extremely grounded and it was something constant during a period of uncertainity.

Last year marked a significant milestone in my yoga journey as I completed my yoga teacher’s training course, which I have always wanted to do. With this newfound knowledge and experience, I have now started on an advanced level course, to deepen my practice and knowledge. Through the power of pranayama, I have discovered how important breathwork is. It helps one find equilibrium & be in charge of your emotions and reactions.

I teach yoga along with hypnosis meditation & have a certification in hypnotherapy which I use as a tool during my counselling sessions as well. Hypnosis meditation is a relaxing practice where you focus your mind to achieve a state of deep relaxation. It’s like taking your mind on a peaceful journey, where you can let go of worries and stress. You can use it to build self esteem, improve your sleep, for phobias and many other issues.

I look forward to you joining me for my yoga sessions and taking your own yoga journey.

Power Yoga

Power yoga is a dynamic and energetic style of yoga that combines fluid movements with breath control to build strength, flexibility, and endurance. Unlike traditional yoga styles, power yoga moves quickly from one pose to another, creating a flowing sequence that challenges both the body and mind. It often incorporates elements of strength training, such as lunges, squats, and arm balances, to enhance muscle tone and physical fitness. With its emphasis on intensity and continuous movement, power yoga provides a vigorous workout while also promoting mental focus and mindfulness.

Zen Yoga

Zen yoga is a holistic practice that blends the gentle movements of yoga with the mindfulness principles of Zen Buddhism. It emphasizes simplicity, presence, and inner awareness, aiming to cultivate a deep sense of tranquility and connection between the mind, body, and spirit. In Zen yoga, practitioners focus on breath awareness, gentle stretching, and meditation to promote relaxation and inner peace.

Face Yoga

Face yoga is a natural facial exercise practice aimed at toning, tightening, and rejuvenating the muscles in the face and neck. Through a series of facial exercises and massage techniques, face yoga seeks to improve circulation, stimulate collagen production, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It involves specific movements targeting various areas of the face, such as the forehead, eyes, cheeks, and jawline, to promote muscle strength and elasticity.
